You may be able to disable some of these technologies by configuring the appropriate setting(s) on your device (for example, with most internet browsers users can erase or block cookies, or receive a warning before a cookie is stored). However, doing so may limit the functionality of the website and/or impact your user experience with our online service.

In the process of determining the appropriate retention period for personal information, we take into consideration the nature and sensitivity of the personal information, the potential risk of harm from unauthorised use or disclosure of your personal information, the purposes for which we retain your personal information and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means which pose less risk of harm from unauthorised use, and the applicable legal requirements. In certain situations, we may de-identify your personal information, so that there are no longer any ties that link the information with you personally, for market research or statistical purposes. In these circumstances, since the information does not identify you personally, we may use this information indefinitely. We will endeavour to provide you with all of your personal information if you request it, however there may be situations where we cannot grant you access to the personal information we hold. For instance, we may need to refuse access if granting access would breach the privacy of others or result in a breach of confidentiality. If this is the case, we will provide you with a written account for any refusal. If any personal information we hold about you is incorrect or incomplete, then you may request us to amend it.
Withdrawing consent
You may withdraw your consent to the collection or storing of your personal information as outlined in this privacy policy at any point for any reason. We will carry out a rapid and comprehensive assessment of the suspected data breach to determine if it amounts to an 'eligible data breach' as defined in the Privacy Act, which in general terms is a breach likely to result in serious harm to any individual affected. If, after assessing the situation, we believe on reasonable grounds that an eligible data breach has occurred, we will notify the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (Commissioner) and the affected individuals at likely risk of serious harm as soon as reasonably practicable, in accordance with Privacy Amendment (Notifiable Data Breaches) Act 2017. AI portraits and photo products
If you or your guests choose an AI portrait or other AI-generated photo product at one of our booths, the guest's photo is sent to a third-party AI image service so the portrait can be created. Taking part is optional, and guests are asked before their photo is used this way.
The photo and the finished portrait are used only to produce that portrait and to deliver it to the guest and the event host. The service provider may be located overseas, including in the United States. We do not use these photos to train AI models, and we ask our providers not to.
We keep the original photo and the portrait for up to 30 days after the event so that we can resolve any issues, then delete them, unless the event host asks us to keep them longer. Guests can ask us to delete their photo or portrait at any time by contacting us.
