What your Sydney DJ brings
Sound system sized to the room
Speakers and subwoofers that fill a function room without drowning out conversation at the tables.
Wireless microphones
For speeches, toasts and announcements, set up and tested before guests arrive.
Dance-floor lighting
Effects lighting that switches on when it is time to dance and stays subtle through dinner.
Music planning
We go through your must-play and do-not-play songs and the moments that need a specific track.
Music for every age group
Old-school, current hits, RnB, dance and Lebanese and Arabic favourites, blended so no one sits out for long.
Set up before guests arrive
In, tested and running before the first guest walks in, and packed away after the last song. Your hours start once the system is running.
4.9 from 50 Google reviews
Plus 4.8 from 8 on Easy Weddings. Both cover the whole business: the DJ, the booths and the bar.

The gear matters less than the song choice
A Sydney DJ with the best speakers in the city can still clear a dance floor.
It usually happens in one of four ways, and each is avoidable with planning and attention on the night.
Planning a wedding instead?
Our wedding DJ service covers the ceremony-to-last-dance timeline.
For work functions see corporate event DJ hire, and for a school formal, 18th or 21st there is a page for that too.
Many hosts also add a photo booth or bartenders to the same booking.
What each booking covers is set out on the pricing page.
- ✓Playing to the DJ's taste instead of the guests'
- ✓Going loud and fast too early, before the room is ready
- ✓Sticking to one genre when the crowd spans 16 to 70
- ✓Missing the cue for the cake, speeches or a surprise song
How a party DJ booking runs
Arrive and set up
We load in before your guests arrive, place speakers to suit the room and test the microphones.
Background music while guests arrive
Low-key tracks while people mingle and eat, at a volume that lets them talk.
Speeches and key moments
Mics handed over on cue, with the right track ready for the cake, the entrance or the surprise.
Open the dance floor
Lights on and the tempo lifts, reading the crowd and changing styles as it fills.
Last song and pack-down
A proper finish at your chosen time, then we pack away without getting in the way of the goodbyes.
Sydney rooms we have played, before and after the lights went down
The gear looks the same in every photo. What changes the night is where the booth sits, how the room is lit, and whether it was all tested before guests walked in.

Kept the crowd going
Charlie Sparx was the DJ at my pre wedding party. He played great music throughout the night and kept the crowd alive. I couldn't have asked for a better DJ to help us celebrate such a massive milestone in our lives
Charli DJed for my daughter’s 16th birthday and did a great job. He had the teenagers on the dance floor most of the night and was able to adjust for the varying moods and demands of the evening.

DJ hire in Sydney: common questions
What kinds of events do you DJ?
Birthdays from sweet 16s to 60ths, engagement parties, school formals, corporate launches, awards nights and end-of-year functions. Weddings have their own page, because the planning is different.
How much does a party DJ cost in Sydney?
DJ hire carries a starting price that covers the system, the lighting, delivery, set-up and pack-down across Sydney metro. The final figure depends on your hours, your date and whether you are adding a booth or bar staff. Send the details and you get a written quote.
How long do you play for?
Most parties book the DJ from guest arrival through to the venue's cut-off, which is usually four to five hours. Tell us your start and finish times and we will quote to cover the whole night rather than part of it.
Can we send a playlist?
Yes. Send your must-play songs and anything you never want to hear. We use the list as a guide and fill around it based on how the crowd responds.
Do you take requests from guests?
If you want us to, yes. Some hosts prefer the DJ sticks to the plan, so we ask you before the night.
Can the DJ also MC?
We can handle announcements, introductions and running the order of the night. Tell us what you need when you enquire.
What do you need from the venue?
A standard power point near where the system goes and access to load in before guests arrive. We confirm bump-in times, noise limits and the curfew with your venue directly rather than leaving it to you.
Can I add a photo booth or bartenders?
Yes. Bundling a booth or bar staff with the DJ keeps it to one booking, one quote and one set-up crew.
