Everything the room needs to be heard and seen
Screens and projection
Large-format screens or projection sized to the room, with content loaded and tested before your first speaker walks up.
Sound system supply
Speakers and amplification matched to the room and the headcount, so the back table hears the same as the front.
Mixers and feeds
Audio desk, laptop feeds and playback, run by an operator who stays for the whole event rather than setting and leaving.
Microphones
Handheld, lapel and lectern microphones with spares on hand, because a flat battery mid-speech is the failure everyone remembers.
Stage lighting
Wash and uplighting so presenters are lit properly on camera and the room does not look flat in the photos.
Staging
Platform staging, lectern and cabling covered and taped down to venue requirements.

A gala dinner fails at the microphone, not the menu
Nobody remembers the AV at a gala dinner that goes well. They remember the one where the CEO's microphone cut out, the sponsor video played without sound, or the award winners walked into a dark stage.
That is why our AV hire in Sydney comes with the desk staffed for the whole event, not set and left. Speeches, video playback, award segments and the move into music are timed against your run sheet and rehearsed before doors, not worked out while three hundred people watch. And because the DJ, the booths and the bar come from the same business, the AV brief and the entertainment brief do not arrive at your venue from three different suppliers.
Screens, sound and lighting, set before the room fills
Marquees and glass pavilions have no rigging points and no house power, so everything hangs off the frame and runs off a distribution board we bring. That is worked out on a site visit, not on the day.

How AV hire works on the day
Send the run sheet
Date, venue, guest numbers and what happens on stage. We come back with a specification and a price, usually the same day.
Confirm with the venue
We check bump-in windows, power, rigging points, ceiling height and noise limits directly with your venue before anything is locked in.
Bump-in and rehearse
Everything is in, patched and tested before doors. Presenters get a microphone check and video is played through, not assumed.
Show and pack-down
A technician stays on the desk for the whole event. Pack-down starts once the room is clear, within the venue's bump-out window.
Audio visual hire in Sydney: common questions
Can you send a certificate of currency to the venue?
Yes. Convention centres and hotels usually want public liability cover on file before they confirm bump-in and rigging times. Give us the venue contact when you book and the certificate goes straight to them.
Do you deal with the venue directly?
We do. Bump-in windows, power, rigging points, ceiling height, loading dock access and noise limits all get confirmed with the venue before your event, not discovered on the day.
Is the desk staffed for the whole event?
Yes. The desk is operated for the duration rather than set and left, because the moments that go wrong are the handovers: a microphone opening for a speech, a sponsor video needing sound, an award segment running early. Those are rehearsed before doors and run live on the night.
Can you provide an audio feed for recording or streaming?
Yes. A clean feed out of the desk can go to a recording rig, a streaming encoder or the venue's own system. Tell us what it is going into and we will make sure the output matches.
Can you supply the AV and the entertainment for the same event?
Yes, and it is usually the reason people call us rather than an AV company. The AV, the DJ, the booths and the bar staff go on one quote with one contact, which means one brief instead of three and nobody pointing at another supplier when something needs solving.
How do you work out what our event needs?
Send the run sheet and we will tell you what the room needs. Guest numbers, whether there are speeches or awards, whether anything is being projected and how the room is laid out all change the specification.
Can you run AV at a regional or interstate venue?
Yes. Delivery, set-up and pack-down are included within Sydney metro, and beyond that we travel anywhere in Australia. For a regional or interstate event the travel is quoted with the specification rather than added later, and we still confirm bump-in, power and rigging with the venue before the day.
How far ahead should we book?
Gala dinners, conferences and award nights book a long way ahead, particularly in November and December. If your date is in that window, check it early.
Send your run sheet
Start with the date, venue and guest numbers. On the next step, tell us what's happening on stage or paste in the run sheet. We reply with a specification and a price. Your details are only used to answer your enquiry, as set out in our Privacy Policy.

Running the whole night, not just the stage?
Put the AV, the DJ, a booth and bar staff on one quote and you brief one supplier instead of four.
